Discussion of "Modeling of wind turbines for power system studies"

The author comments on the paper by T. Petru et al. (see ibid., vol.17, p.1132-9, 2002). The comments relate to the static power curve, voltage flicker, and the lack of a block diagram or a small signal flow diagram connecting all of the equations given in the paper.
