A digital control system with graphic language and its applications to variable-speed drives

The authors discuss problems in the construction of digital control systems in the field of power electronics. In this field, various types of control equipment are required for a number of control objects. A digital control system featuring both hardware and software of easy and flexible application has been developed. With regard to software, particularly, a graphic language suited for power electronic equipment was developed for improving productivity and maintainability. This digital control system has shown good results in application to plant-use variable-speed drives.<
