Minimum sampling rates for linear shift-variant discrete-time systems

The required sampling rate is an important consideration in digital implementation of analog linear shift-variant systems. Sufficient sampling rates have been previously derived. In this paper we derive the necessary rate and illustrate the method for its computation.
