The application of random reference sequences to the reconstruction of clipped differentiable signals

The estimation of analog waveforms s(t) from their clipped contaminated samples is considered. For differentiable signals s(t), appropriate estimates are established and their performance is investigated: Error bounds and convergence rates are derived which improve with the degree of differentiability of the signal s(t). The analytical results are supplemented by a simulation study.
