High density CMOS ROM arrays

THE MANY FEATURES of static CMOS read-only-memories are important in a wide range of applications. However, extensive use of CMOS ROMs has been limited by their low capacity and relatively high cost. This paper will describe a family of mask programmable cost competitive CMOS ROMs with capacities of up to 8,192 bits.
