On the extended boundary condition as applied to the dipole antenna problem

It is shown that if the surface currents on a dipole antenna of revolution generate zero axial
E
-field on the interior symmetry axis of the antenna, then the entire interior
E
-field is zero and the conventional boundary condition is satisfied.
