A nonrectangular patch model for scattering from surfaces

A model is derived for treatment of surfaces using nonrectangular patches. Tests show good agreement, where comparison is possible, with results published elsewhere. The results are shown to be reasonable even in cases where some of the quadrilaterals degenerate to triangles.
