Force history dependence of reverse-rates of P-selectin interacting with PSGL-1

The rates of dissociation of P-selectin bonded with two forms of PSGL-1 and an antibody were characterized using an atomic force microscope. The reverse-rates were shown to depend not only on force but also on the history of force application.
