Optimal model matching control systems: Minmax approach

In this note, the optimal interpolation theory is applied to deal with the model matching control problem. With this approach, we construct a best approximate model matching control in the sense of an
H^{\infty}
-norm. This approximation is constructed for the imperfect model matching case; perfect model matching results whenever it is possible.
