Performance index sensitivity of optimal control of first order in time- and space-distributed parameter systems

This paper considers the performance index sensitivity with respect to system parameter variations when the system is given by a class of distributed parameter systems which is first order in time and space. It is shown that for such a class of systems, the Pagurek-Witsenhausen paradox can be extended.
