Dynamic file assignment in a computer network--Part II: Decentralized control

Optimal decentralized control of file assignment in computer networks is studied. We consider two types of information patterns: one-step-delay and no-exchange-of-information. A complete explicit solution is provided for the first case, and the second is solved in principle.
