On the controllability and the stabilizability of linear systems

The controllability and the stabilizability of linear time variable systems are considered. It is shown that the controllability and the stabilizability of the (
n-m
) dimensional subsystem assure that of the original system, respectively, where

denotes the dimension of the state space and
m
denotes the number of the input.
