Separability of multivariable network driving-point functions

In this paper, new results on the sum separability of multivariable reactance and positive real functions are presented. Foster preamble operation for multivariable positive real functions is explained and a procedure for accomplishing this is given. Also, certain decomposition procedures leading to sum separability are presented.
