A new method for computing electromagnetic force fields in induction furnaces

An alternative computational approach to the calculation of the electromagnetic force fields in induction furnaces is described. This technique, which may replace the currently employed mutual-inductance or finite-difference/element methods, represents a combination of these two and may offer significant savings in CPU time requirements.
