Compact capacitor powered railgun systems

The advances in capacitor technology are described and referenced with respect to the current state of the art. Several approaches to extending capacitor energy storage density are discussed. Point designs of electromagnetic launchers using capacitor technology are presented and projected performance data given based upon computer models.
