Stochastic responses from electrically driven Inferior Colliculus units

Cochlear implant stimulation can, depending on the applied strategy, result in varying degrees of deterministic versus stochastic response. Inferior Colliculus units were driven by bipolar charge balanced stimulation of an electrode array in the by scala tympani. High pulse rate strategies can result in a more stochastic response.
