Representation of continuous circular aperture as a set of discrete rings for a prescribed radiation pattern

A method for discretization of a circular aperture with a set of rings which are further discretized as a set of elements on a ring is outlined. These elements have the same current magnitudes. For practical reasons the authors have only concentrated on the near side lobes.<
