Ray acousto-elasticity integrals for 2-D strain field

Starting from the equations of dynamics of a small disturbance in a strained continuum, integral acousto-elasticity relations, that connect the mean phase velocities of plane waves of different polarizations to the strain distribution in the direction of the wave propagation, have been established.
