A high-performance VFO-LSIusing 2-/spl mu/m CMOS analog and digital standard cell methodology

A high-performance and monolithic variable frequency oscillator (VFO) for hard disk system, which has been fabricated in 2-mum double-metal P-well CMOS technology and designed by aixed analog and digital standard cell methodology, is described herein. In particular, several new circuit techniques and design aspects of a high performance CMOS analog cell library are explained in detail.
