A 4Gb/s GaAs 16-1multiplexer/1-16demultiplexer LSI

Various GaAs ICs have been developed for use in gigabit-rate digital electronic systems and communication systems. An evaluation of these ICs requires test instruments that. generate and receive multi-channel data at rates higher than several gigabits per second. To meet these needs high speed word generating and receiving LSIs have been developed. We applied novel circuit technologies and packaging methods in order to realize the LSI. Using GaAs SAINT process. successful IG-INUX operation at 4.OGIIz and I-IGDMUX operation at 4.63682 were obtained
