Design of a 32bit microprocessor, TX1

This paper describes implementation of the TXI, especially focuses on the design style suitable for VLSI microprocessors including full utilization of DA such as logic synthesis and automatic place and router. Clock skew problem which is one of the most serious one in the high performance and high speed VLSI world is also studied and successfully resolved. Table 1 shows feature of the TXI chip.
