A Novel High Voltage Gain Nonisolated Bidirectional DC-DC Converter for Hybrid Energy Storage System

T In this paper, a novel non-isolated bidirectional dc-dc converter (BDC) with high voltage conversion ratio has been proposed for hybrid energy storage system (HESS). The converter presented combines the advantages of simple structure, high voltage gain, wide voltage gain range and low stresses across the power semiconductors. A broad analysis of the operation principle and the characteristics analysis of the converter in a continuous conduction mode are presented in detail. This paper also develop a 1 kW experimental prototype, which validates the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed BDC.
