Abstract:
This paper presents the measurement method of conducted emission on signal lines with current probe according to Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards which are CISPR 32, CISPR 14-1, CISPR 16-2-1, and other similar standards. CISPR 14-1 gives the limitation of emission tests which have to be applied to the household appliances, electric tools and similar apparatus. In addition, the CISPR 16-2-1 standard addresses the conducted emission measurement methods in CISPR 14-1. The current probe method is one of the conducted disturbances measurement methods mentioned in these standards. This method is an extensive method used in EMC to measure conducted disturbances on signal lines of auxiliary equipment. The main purpose of this study is to examine the effect of noise emitted by interconnection lines and also examine the effect of disturbance current measurement depending on the difference in the inner diameter of the current probe. Furthermore, different test procedures are applied for this purpose. Test results were compared and the method on how to apply the disturbance tests with current probe was presented.
