The high-quality audio broadcasting system using MPEG-2 AAC and streaming technology

This paper describes the implementation of an Internet audio service using MPEG-2 AAC and streaming technology. This system consists of MPEG-2 AAC hardware encoder, the streaming server, the message server, and the client. For the test of the system performance, we are temporally servicing the system in our Institute's intranet environment, which has about 2000 users.
