A comparison of feature detection in low atmospheric pressure using thermal and visible images

In this paper, we apply Oriented Fast and Rotated Brief (ORB) feature detection to a target in low atmospheric pressure using thermal and visible images. We obtain images at various altitudes, pressures, and illumination conditions in order to evaluate the viability of such methods for identifying spacecraft in orbit.
