Abstract:

An Livestock Barn Monitoring System (LBMS) for monitoring the parameters, such as temperature sensor, Heart rate sensor, 3 axis accelerometer sensor and humidity sensor has been developed. The system can also be analyzing the stress level corresponding to Thermal Humidity Index (THI). The objective of this project is to develop an Automatic Veterinary System (AVS) for monitoring each cow and AVS can be maintained for throughout veterinary system in Tamilnadu for digital storage of information and to identify near by hospitals and availability of doctors. The database consists of the animal full detail from birth and medicine given to the animal then the doctor can refer the detail and give necessary medicine and vaccine. With the help of automatic veterinary system the animals can be monitor easily without any need to be taken for daily check-up. The proposed module consists of Arduino Uno Microcontroller, Sensors, WIFI, RFID. To achieve individual cattle's illness, WIFI MODULE is developed to monitor the cattle's daily activities.
