Novel current mode universal filter using single DVCC

Implementation of a universal filter using only a single differential voltage current conveyor is the motive of this paper. Employment of only two resistors and two capacitors, with one capacitor being grounded, proves the efficiency of the configuration. All five basic responses, i.e. low pass, high pass, band pass, band reject and all pass, can be obtained from the same topology. The circuit allows tunability of angular frequency (ω

) and quality factor (Q

). The practical workability of the network is shown using PSPICE simulation results. For obtaining the simulation curves, MOS circuit of DVCC formed using TSMC 0.18μm parameters has been used.
