Increasing the efficiency and speed of the submodes analysis of short circuits

Methods of improving analysis of the short circuits (SC) stationary submodes in relation to some basic condition of a concrete electrical grid are considered. The structure, range and quantity of the modes and SC submodes unprecedentedly extend at realization of management processes and technologies especially in smart grid. It is defined by growth of an intellectual component in problems of short-circuit current limitation and grid reconfiguration. The methodical basis of this paper is the known imposing prefault and fault SC conditions within methods of symmetric components and phase coordinates. Generalization of this methodology varying in quantity and structure of topological and parametrical changes in relation to a basic condition of a grid is made. Justifications and algorithms of a simultaneous sub-regime changes complex realization within methods of the main and planimetric equations are given. Recommendations about application of the offered algorithms for the analysis of asymmetrical SC within a method of symmetric components and, in particular, accounting mutual induction in schemes of zero sequence are discussed. Estimates of computing operation number when using the economical organization of calculation process are given. For an illustration of the offered analysis methods of the sub-modes, a simplified example is reviewed where the complex of simultaneous different sub-regime situations is realized. In conclusions, capabilities of the advanced technique for performance of serial multiple SC calculations in electric grid with invariable matrixes of the main equations are emphasized at various changes and localization of damages to an electric grid.
