Evaluation of distribution fault outage cost considering distributed photovoltaic generation

Distribution Fault outage directly influences the normal electricity consumption. Accurate evaluation of distribution fault outage cost plays a key role in the investment and decision on improving the power supply reliability. Based on distribution topology, we first analyze the characteristics of distribution load when take distributed photovoltaic generation (DPG) into accounts and propose the practical load models for both power generation and consumption of DPG with big data approach. Finally, we calculate the load and economic loss of all the distribution transformers and the overall outage cost in the perspective of feeder line as well. The numerical results present the effectiveness of our method.
