Experimental studies of nonlinear metasurface with metamaterial substrate

In this paper the reflective properties of prototype of nonlinear metasurface with the grounded metamaterial (MM) substrate are studied to verify the possibility of aligning multiple frequency harmonics of reflected field. Frequency characteristics of the reflection and transmission for a prototype of the substrate based on MM experimentally are received. It is shown that alignment of levels of harmonic components of reflected fields provided by means of reduction of level of the reflected field on fundamental harmonic thanks to energy absorption in the MM.
