Latency-aware Multi-layer Network Optimization in IP-over- WDM Core Networks

We study the handling of latency-sensitive traffic in an IP/optical core network. We show the superiority of our proposed latency-aware multi-layer network optimization approach, and evaluate the impact of propagation and electronic processing delays.
