A novel method view to estimate 5G spectrum needs for land mobile service

Spectrum bands become more and more valuable to wireless services, because more wireless systems are fast deployed all around the world in recent years. Land mobile service is one of such wireless services. Due to great commercial interest in land mobile service, mobile networks are developing fast. However, the allocated spectrum to land mobile service is running off. More and more researchers and the industry realize that it is the time to estimate the spectrum needs for land mobile service. But there is no mature method on this subject. A novel method for 5G spectrum needs estimation (5GSNE) is proposed in this paper. 5GSNE would be a reference for future spectrum needs estimation studies, and might be used for spectrum needs estimation for China.
