Precise and fast interactive area QoE management framework toward 5G era

We propose a precise and fast interactive area management framework for designing geographical areas and base stations and quick quality of experience management in 4G and after, especially in massive multiple-input and multiple output (MIMO) for precise beamforming control planned for 5G. Current radio-frequency (RF) management technologies using ray-tracing or radio propagation modeling can estimate the radio signal strength in an entire cell area, but these accuracies are insufficient and ray-tracing takes a very long time to calculate. While measurement data at user equipment collected via the cell-trace function at base stations or crowdsourcing schemes are comparatively accurate, they are not included in the entire cell area. Our management framework selects the best of both technologies. We also propose a pilot algorithm for estimating and interpolating key indexes in real-space such as signal strength for quality of experience visualization. The proposed algorithm ensures that the benefits of the current technologies are incorporated.
