Design of an optically pumped distributed feedback laser with perovskite active media

We present the design and simulation of an optically pumped distributed feedback (DFB) laser with perovskite active media. To avoid the highly soluble perovskite contacting water solutions during the processing, the structure is designed so that the silica cladding of the optical waveguide is preformed with embedded grating before the perovskite precursor is spin-coated.
