A dynamic TDMA protocol based on correlation in Wireless Sensor Networks

In the applications of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), there are always significant correlations among the data from the neighboring nodes. To improve the channel utility, a Dynamic Time Division Multiple Access Control (DTDMA) is presented. It can adjust the allocation of time slots based on correlation to form the variable-length frames. The analysis indicates that the protocol can achieve good energy efficiency in the dynamic networks.
