Idle load proportional resonant grid connection control for doubly-fed wind power generation system

The proportional resonant control strategy is proposed to realize the control of the idle load grid connection of the doubly-fed wind power generation system. Based on the mathematical model of doubly-fed induction generator, the stator flux oriented grid connection system of doubly fed wind power generation system is established. With the principle of proportional resonant (PR) controller, the control of the idle load proportional resonance is designed. In this method, the active and reactive current components are transformed in the stationary frame to adjust and to achieve power grid synchronization control of the doubly-fed wind power system. Compared with traditional network synchronization control of DFIG, the proposed scheme reduces the times of rotating coordinates transformation, cancels the feed-forward compensation control influenced by generator parameters. The control algorithm is thus simplified and the robustness of control system is improved. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed control strategy realizes the network synchronization control of DFIG effectively.
