Abstract:

This paper argues that higher education institutions, namely universities, can and should rise to the challenge of meeting the talent shortage in the Oil & Gas industry in Lebanon and the region by playing a significant role in actively building human resource capacity. The study uses the qualitative approach in presenting a case study of the timely initiative undertaken by the College of Business Administration at Rafik Hariri University in launching its own Oil & Gas MBA this coming fall 2015.
