3D-CAD of a magnetostrictive amorphous sensor for movements of human spina

Amorphous ferromagnetic alloys show both, good mechanical properties but also excellent soft magnetic and magnetoelastic properties; therefore increased attempts have been made to construct new types of sensors, e.g. in the life sciences. Here, a sensor arrangement was developed, which allows monitoring of articular movement of the human spinal column.
