Design of a fuzzy multivariable technique based upon human behavior

Difficulties are encountered in applying multivariable fuzzy systems to industrial processes mainly due to the complexity of the multidimensional fuzzy relation that is to be developed and as a consequence memory overload of most industrial computers results. This paper describes a new technique that is simple in structure and has the ability to avoid memory overloading in industrial computers. A welding application is considered to describe the implementation of such a technique where the cavity width and depth are the inputs and the robot arm speed is the output of the system.<
