Browsing Standards

The Browse Standards page enables you to browse through all of the standards in the IEEE Xplore database.

To locate a standard:
  1. On the Home page, click Standards under . On other pages, hover on or click in the navigation menu bar. Then click Standards. IEEE Xplore displays the By Number tab with a list of titles starting with the number 1.

  2. Make the appropriate choices in Display Options. Then click .

  3. Use the By Number tab to:

  1. Click the By Subject tab to browse by subject or click the By Subscription tab to browse by subscription package.
  2. In the list of active titles, click next to a title or to view other versions of the standard.

  3. View multiple pages of results by using the page numbers or Previous and Next links at the bottom of the screen.

To locate a version of a standard:
  1. Click next to a title or to list active, draft, withdrawn, and archived versions of the standard.

  2. Click a version title to view its abstract.

You can view the AbstractPlus or full text if you or your institution subscribes to the standard. You can view basic abstracts if you do not subscribe to the standard.
