Summary: This paper introduces the telemedicine system implemented by the authors. The system is based on computer and Web communications. It can be perfectly linked with the present hospital information systems, and can effectively realize the storage, management, share and query on multimedia medical information (included radiology images, video). Long-distance doctors could enter the system by the Internet browser, to perform various jobs such as long-distance diagnosis, long-distance consultation, and online medical treatment.
