Summary:We consider the problem of designing a wireless communication system where one of the two ends in the link is totally passive and can use very simplified analog technology, such as filters and nonlinearity. This study builds the background and proposes possible solutions for the design of future ultra-miniaturize wireless transceivers, operating on ranges of picocells, that may serve a wide range of civil and military applications
