Abstract

Virtual reality is a combination of image processing, computer graphics, computer vision, human-comp interaction and so on. With virtual reality, we have made a virtual reconstruction to FouGuang temple. The process of virtual reconstruction consists of data acquiring, modeling, render and real-time browsing system designing. Our system selects single sight of FouGuang temple as example, supporting the browsing modes including free browsing. It provides a beneficial attempt to applying of virtual reality technology to the protection of Chinese history architecture.
