Summary:For years no replacement parts have been available for electromechanical voltage regulators supplied by various manufacturers. The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has developed a solid-state replacement for these obsolete voltage regulators. This regulator has proven to be reliable and inexpensive compared to other systems provided as alternatives.
