Summary: Grids are popular mechanisms for resource exchange, but their pervasive, decentralized and loosely coupled characteristics make protecting services and resources difficult. In this paper, we propose a trust model for grid environments based on our novel recommendation method, a fair-trading scheme, and an access control model. This approach preserves the grid's decentralized structure and participant's autonomy, but also enables secure service exchange.
