Summary:A massively parallel algorithm of LU factorization based on a scheme of mapping a matrix onto CM2 is presented. The algorithm uses O(n²) processors and achieves O(nlogn) time complexity. The analysis and the experimental implementation show that a substantial speed-up and a satisfactory processor utilization are achieved
